The Hindu Colony precinct is no ordinary place. It is witness to stories that have inspired, shaped and cultivated a whole way of life. This historic precinct was once the home of “Rajgruha”, built by the Father of the Indian Constitution Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar. He inhabited the place until his final years.

The decades old raintrees and mahogany trees edged on Ambedkar Road that runs through the precinct were  once compared to the Riviera by the Duke of Edinburgh on his visit to the city. Not to forget the glimpses of British era architectural heritage that once graced the landscape of the precinct. The Dadar Hindu Colony is not just a location on the map of Mumbai but a whole mindset of a vibrant culturally rich life!
